Joining a Gym
Well I don’t know what the fuck I was thinking, or what is the big idea with this, but yes, I joined a Gym last friday and I am starting this week. My workout plan is very plain and simple. I am following Mark Rippetoe’s Starting Strength program with a few changes (just one, instead of doing cleans I am doing rows).
I am starting either today, and go all the way through Wednesdays and Fridays, or start tomorrow and do it Thursdays and Saturdays.
My first day workout will consist of:
- Squats: 3 sets of 5 repetition.
- Bench Press: 3 sets of 5 repetitions.
- Deadlift: 1 set of 5 repetitions.
- Abs work. Only if I feel like it.
- Perhaps, 5 minutes of cardio to warmup.
I expect to be done in less than hour, around 45 minutes so I don’t overtrain from the very beggining. Ah… I am so gonna be walking like a fucking penguin tomorrow.
